I like this.......I'm finding 'blogging' is helping me. It's helping me by getting stuff out of my mind..... Hmmm, I think I may do more of this... LotteryI've not won anything again on the lottery, so it looks like business as usual tomorrow. Oh well, you never know I might win the £100,000 next Saturday. I'm patient I don't mind waiting another six days. Your just so funny......I'm a big fan of Rowan Atkinson. He's a British actor, comedien and screenwriter. Not only is he incredibly talented but very versatile. I only have to look at his face and it makes me laugh. I loved him in Johnny English, Blackadder and of course as Mr Bean (my daughter's favourite being Mr Bean's Holiday). Johnny English Reborn is coming out at the cinema soon.......can't wait....... Contact lenses v GlassesI think I first found out I needed glasses when I was about 21 or maybe even 22 and really didn't like the idea at all. I remember my first pair, talk about massive, blimey! Of course it was the fashion, but I've kept them and they do make me laugh when I occasionally come across them. I really didn't like wearing them (and still don't if I'm honest), so looked into getting contact lenses. It really was the best thing I ever did. No more de-misting them when they steamed up after been outside, and just having them on my face I found it hard to get used to. That said, I wear them in the day, flip out the contacts and put the glasses back on for the evening! Only childI am an only child. Some people say 'only child,
lonely child'. In my case
my mum did her best in
trying to avoid this, ie.
inviting friends around to
play, etc. If I'm totally
honest, I did feel quite
lonely (at times) growing
up, especially around the
teenage years. Both of
my parents have fairly
large families, so lots of
cousins, but as they were not in our local area, I did feel a bit cut off and I suppose I did feel on my own, hence 'only child, lonely child'. Whilst friends went out with their sister or brother, I would have no-one so close. I have come to the conclusion because of this, I am very self sufficient and can cope well on my own. That's not say I'm a loner, I love people, but I do enjoy a certain amount of time 'on my own'. Whether that's because I am an only child, I'm not entirely sure, maybe it's just 'me'. I remember a girl at my school saying I bet I was spoilt because there was only me to spend on. She however, had three siblings to share with. I got this with others also who suggested the same thing. Naturally you are more likely to get a bit more spent on you, after all, there is only you, but as for been spoilt rotten, hardly! I would love to hear your experiences also, thanks for reading... MrsH Dynamo Magician ImpossibleI just thought I'd write and share with you something that I watched on TV recently. It was a magician by the name of Dynamo and I have to say it was truly amazing, I've never seen anything quite like it. Some of the stuff he did included: Turning lottery tickets into £20 notes Turning snow into crystals Taking a mobile telephone and putting it into a bottle Getting a random bloke's cash card and before your eyes his name appears on the card All amazing stuff.... This stuff is scientifically impossible, so HOW DOES HE DO IT? Well I just don't know... but I 'can't wait until he back on this week, thats all I do know. HonestyI like truth and honesty and cannot tolerate false
people. If you are false,
I have no time for you, so kindly stay away. I hate pastaI hate pasta. I mean, what with all the funny little shapes it can come in, eeeeugh! Just how anyone can eat the stuff, I'll never understand; I mean the texture, well, I just don't get it. Then, when its covered in sauce, really turns my stomach. As a child I was never given it. I know my mum doesn't like it, maybe thats a the reason, I'm not sure. If my OH is in the kitchen cooking pasta, I stay well out of the way. It's the only opportunity the kids will get pasta for tea, as I can't bear to look at it either. I've only met a couple of people who feel the same as me, anyone else, feel free to share... Hair straighteners rock!Quite how I would have managed my hair, without hair straighteners, doesn't bear thinking about. It's okay if your hair is naturally poker straight, but when its got a bit of wave going on, it's a pain. So, I say hair straighteners rock! I just hope fashion doesn't change and they bring back perms, urgh, I've got the photos somewhere (or rather my mum has) of me with a curly perm - and guess what I, thought I looked great! Ha ha, I actually look younger than I did then! Hey that's given you something to think about hasn't it, so I'll leave it with you for now xx
